Excursion into France

We started this morning with a visit to Uli and Jurgen.  Jurgen had a garden that had a small orchard of Apple, nectarine and peach along with some lavender but what caught our attention was his pond so John and I took pictures to show my mother.

After our visit with Uli and Jurgen we travelled to France to Mont Sainte Odile's Abbey.  This was quite a large structure that was still a functional abbey.  However, it had walking trails, restaurant, gift shop and hotel for visitors.  It had a time line posted which we took pictures of for when we get back.

On our drive back to Ichenheim we passed a miniature house, the locks between France and Germany.
